Temporary Credentials Committee Responsibilities – Hears any contests against another delegate/alternate. The committee members will hear from both sides involved and will then vote on what to recommend to the convention body. The committee can recommend to have the challenged person seated as a delegate/alternate, or they can recommend that the person should not be seated. The committee also reviews the lists of people selected to represent each precinct as a delegate/alternate and the registration sign-in sheets. The committee will then recommend the adoption of the permanent roll of people eligible to vote during the remainder of the convention. |
